Your travel itinerary could look like...

Day 1

AM - Arrive in Budapest

Upon arrival in Budapest you will be met by your tour manager and transfer to your hotel.

In the evening you will have dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Day 2

AM - Pest, and the Budapest Opera house

Fuel up with breakfast at the hotel before starting your day in the Pest side of the city. The Pest side of Budapest is famous for its cultural and historical landmarks, and you will begin you exploration of the city with a visit the the Budapest Opera House. Admire the stunning architecture and learn about the significance of this cultural institution in Hungarian history and arts.

After you have explored the Opera House keep the musical theme going with a visit to the Kodaly Memory House. A museum that pays homage  to the lives and works of renowned composer Zoltan Kodaly and explores his impact on religious music.

PM - Rehearsal in Szervita Square

In the afternoon visit Szervita Square to rehearse and learn about the history and enjoy the treasure hunting program of the church.

After rehearsal return to the hotel for your evening meal.

Day 3

AM - Buda and the Matthias Church

Start your day with a walk along the picturesque Chain Bridge, connecting the two parts of the city across the Danube River on your way to the Matthias Church.

The Matthias Church is one of the most iconic landmarks in Budapest. Known for its magnificent Gothic-style, colourful roof tiles, and intricate architecture. Take your time to explore the church, admiring the historical artefacts on show and the beautiful stained glass windows.

From the church, make your way across town to the nearby Buda Castle. This impressive complex offers breath-taking panoramic views of the city as you walk around exploring its grounds, and wander through its beautiful courtyards, gardens, and historic buildings.

PM - Rehearsal and concert at the Inner City Parish Church

After exploring in the morning, take the afternoon to rehearse before performing at a concert at the Inner City Parish Church. After the show return back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4

AM - The House of Hungarian Music

Take the morning to visit the House of Hungarian Music, located in the City Park (Varosliget). This innovative museum celebrates Hungary's musical heritage with interactive exhibits, state-of-the-art technology, and immersive displays. Delve into the country's traditional folk melodies, classical compositions, and contemporary tunes while experimenting with music creation. Marvel at the collection of musical instruments, manuscripts, and memorabilia, and don't miss the opportunity to catch a live performance or concert. The House of Hungarian Music offers a captivating and enriching experience for music enthusiasts and cultural explorers alike.

PM - Concert in St Michael's Church

Round off the day by performing at a concert at St Michael's Church.

Once the concert is over take in your last night in Budapest with a celebratory dinner at a restaurant on the Danube

Day 5

AM - Free time in Budapest

Take some free time in the morning to do some last minute shopping in the city, or if you have the time, visit the Aquapark before you go.

PM - Flight back to the UK

Transfer back to the airport before catching your flight back to the UK.
