Your travel itinerary could look like...

Day 1

Tokyo skyline

PM - Arrival

Touchdown in Tokyo where you will be met by your guide and taken to your accommodation.

After you have dropped off your bags and taken a minute to recover from the journey, head back out for dinner with a view like no other at the top of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.

Day 2

Alley of Memories, Tokyo

AM - Tour of Tokyo

Experience Japanese culture at a street level as you board your own private bus to tour the city.

PM -Shibuya Crossing

Get an immersive look into the business community and culture of Tokyo with a visit to some start-up offices, and take a tour of where entrepreneurs from all over the country across industries are striving to innovate.

After dinner take in one of Tokyo's most iconic landmarks, Shibuya Crossing. As the lights turn red be prepared for pedestrians to surge into the middle of the road to get across what might be the most famous road crossing in the world.

Day 3

Bamboo Forest, Kyoto

AM - Glico, ice cream tour

Satisfy your sweet tooth this morning with a trip to Japan's most famous confectionary giant. Take the ice cream tour at the Glico factory and learn about the history of ice cream and watch the process with which it is made. At the end of the tour, indulge in your reward of freshly-made Papico ice cream.

PM - Bamboo Forest

In the afternoon get lost in the bamboo forest in Sakura city followed by a trip to a batting cage to try your hand at Japan's most popular sport - baseball!

Day 4

Odawara Castle, Japan

AM - Odawara Castle

Venture out of Tokyo for the day as you take a visit to the 15th century castle at Odawara. Whilst you are at the castle, you can also pay a visit to the interactive ninja and samurai museum within the grounds, making this an unforgettable experience for your students.

PM - Kamaboko fish cake-making workshop

In the afternoon leave the fighting behind as you gain a window into Japanese culture your your very own Kamaboko fish cake-making workshop.

Day 5

Yoyogi Park entrance, Tokyo

AM - School visit

Take part in a cultural exchange as your students take a tour of a local college where they can join in with lessons, spend time with local students, and get a chance to experience a new culture up close, creating unforgettable memories.

PM - Meiji Shrine

Dedicated to the Emperor Meiji and his wife in the early 20th century, the beautiful Meiji Shrine marks the move in Japan from a feudal state to a modern society.

In the evening take a chance to tour Tokyo's Harajuku district where you will see everything from Pokémon to goths and fashionistas.

Day 6

Tokyo Stock Exchange

AM - Visit to a local company

After breakfast, spend the morning gaining a valuable insight into Japanese work culture by touring a local company, seeing the day to day running of a business in Tokyo, and see what the future of industry might look like.

PM - Tokyo Stock Exchange

Pay a visit to Tokyo Stock Exchange Market to learn about Japanese Securities Market. Students will receive an insightful lecture on the Japan Exchange Group, and the recent developments of the Japanese Securities Market, before taking part in an interactive stock trading game.

After you visit to the centre of modern Japanese economics, take a step back in time and learn about the history of Japanese finances with a visit to the Currency Museum.

For you last night in Japan get everyone together at a local eatery to reflect on your time in Tokyo and the surrounding areas of Japan.

Day 7

Plane landing on runway at sunrise

AM - Departure

Board the coach after breakfast and head back to Tokyo airport to begin your journey back to the UK.
