Day 1

South Korea

Get ready for an exciting first day of our South Korea trip! We’ve got an incredible adventure ahead, combining breathtaking views, fascinating history, and delicious food.

We'll begin the day with a visit to Namsan Seoul Tower, one of Korea’s most iconic landmarks. Did you know that this was the first tower in Korea to feature both a sightseeing observatory and a broadcasting tower? For over 40 years, it has symbolised Seoul, offering stunning, unobstructed views of the entire city. Picture looking out over the sprawling cityscape of Seoul, surrounded by mountains, buildings, and shimmering lights – it’s an experience you won’t forget!

After soaking in the amazing views, we’ll visit the Locks of Love area, where people from all around the world attach locks to symbolise love and friendship. You may even want to leave a lock of your own to remember this special trip!

To end the day, we'll enjoy dinner at a local Korean restaurant, where we'll sample some of Korea’s most famous and mouth-watering dishes.

Day 2

South Korea

You have an exciting and enriching day ahead, filled with opportunities to explore Korean culture and global industries. First, you’ll tour Korea University, a prestigious institution where you’ll experience a world-class academic environment and gain insight into innovative research and vibrant student life.

Next, you'll attend a lecture on South Korea’s influence in the global beauty market. With K-beauty revolutionising skincare and cosmetics, the lecture will provide valuable insights into how Korea shapes beauty trends and markets them worldwide.

To finish the day, you'll dive into Taekwondo, Korea’s traditional martial art known for its discipline and focus. You’ll participate in a demonstration and learn some basic moves from an expert instructor. This hands-on experience will deepen your appreciation for Taekwondo’s cultural significance and the dedication required to master it.

These activities will offer you unique cultural insights, practical knowledge, and skills that will contribute to your personal and professional growth.

Day 3

Busan night

For beauty students, this visit offers a deeper understanding of Korea’s cultural heritage, which plays a pivotal role in shaping the country’s iconic beauty and fashion trends. Your day will start with a visit to the War Memorial Hall, providing your group with a deeper understanding of how Korea’s history has influenced modern K-beauty trends. This visit offers a broader perspective on how historical events shape beauty standards, helping students appreciate the cultural traditions behind global beauty practices.

Next, you'll tour Amore Pacific's headquarters, a leader in the global beauty industry. Here, you'll gain insights into the research and innovation that drive K-beauty’s success. Amore Pacific will showcase cutting-edge skincare, makeup, and personal care technologies, providing students with valuable knowledge they can apply to their own careers.

The K-beauty experience, which includes personalised makeup and colour consultations, will allow students to explore the art of tailoring beauty treatments to different skin tones and types. The K-Beauty Start-up Meetup will introduce students to the entrepreneurial side of the industry, where they can connect with start-up founders and innovators. The Healthcare Company Visit at Inner Beauty Trend and the Meetup with Olive Young's Conscious Beauty Marketer offer university students an exciting opportunity to explore the future of beauty and wellness. The Inner Beauty Trend visit focuses on the growing emphasis on inner beauty, combining skincare, health, and overall well-being. Students will discover how wellness products are transforming the beauty industry and gain an understanding of the science behind these trends. A Q&A session will provide them with the chance to engage with experts, ask questions, and gain insider knowledge from professionals shaping the future of beauty.

The Olive Young Meetup takes things further, introducing students to the rapidly growing world of Conscious Beauty. As a leading brand in South Korea, Olive Young is at the forefront of this movement, which champions sustainability, ethical sourcing, and wellness in beauty. Students will get an inside look at how beauty brands are marketing eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and transparent products to today’s conscious consumers. Incheon Airport

As your incredible trip to South Korea comes to a close, it’s time to head back to the UK. After an enriching week filled with cultural exploration, industry insights, and hands-on beauty experiences, you’ll transfer to the airport for your flight home.
