Day 1

Afternoon:

Travel to Vimy Ridge: After lunch, travel to Vimy Ridge, which is about a 1-hour drive from Lille.

Travel to Verdun: Depart from Lille and travel to Verdun, which is approximately a 3-hour drive.

 

Afternoon:

Verdun Memorial and Battlefields: Visit the Verdun Memorial and explore the surrounding battlefields. Gain insight into the Battle of Verdun, one of the longest and most brutal battles of World War I, and its enduring impact on the region.

 

Evening:

Interactive Workshops: Engage in interactive workshops or educational activities related to World War I history. This could include discussions, presentations, or group projects focused on specific aspects of the conflict.

Day 4

Day 4: Arras and Departure

Morning:

Arras City Tour: Depart from Verdun and travel to Arras, approximately a 2-hour drive.

Afternoon:

Evening:

Departure from Lille: Return to Lille for departure. Depending on the schedule, there may be time for a farewell meal or reflection session before departing.
