Your travel itinerary could look like...

Day 1

Blue skies dominate this photo of the London Eye at sunset

Make the most of your day in London by experiencing some of the city's most iconic sights from a fresh perspective. A London City Cruise is an excellent option for university students, offering a unique view of the capital’s rich history, impressive architecture, and vibrant culture - all from the River Thames. The cruise blends relaxation with learning, taking in landmarks such as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, The Shard, and the Houses of Parliament, while providing insight into London’s development, trade, and social history.

Day 2

Overlooking the River Thames in London featuring a river cruise and Big Ben

On day 2 we will focus on three key cultural attractions, offering students a rich blend of drama, art, religion, and architecture. The day begins with the Shakespeare’s Globe Experience, where students can explore the iconic theatre and gain insight into Elizabethan drama and the life of the Bard. This is followed by a visit to Tate Modern, home to a world-class collection of modern and contemporary art, set within a striking former power station on the South Bank. In the afternoon, the group will head to St Paul’s Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece by Sir Christopher Wren, offering a fascinating look at the city’s religious and historical heritage. Each attraction typically takes around two hours, comfortably filling the day with meaningful and diverse cultural experiences. As many of London’s major landmarks - such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London - will have been viewed during the London Eye and River Thames cruise on the previous day, the evening will be left free for students to explore the city at their own pace. Whether enjoying a riverside walk, relaxing over dinner, or simply taking in the atmosphere, this free time allows for personal discovery and reflection after a full day of guided visits.

Day 3

Looking across London's Tower Bridge at sunset

Take part in a unique walking tour of London with Unseen Walking Tours, guided by individuals who have experienced homelessness and now share their powerful stories and local knowledge. This eye-opening experience offers a deeper, more personal perspective on the city’s history and culture, far beyond the typical tourist trail.

Your students will be directly supporting local, vulnerable communities and contributing to a socially responsible tourism initiative - perfectly aligning with this year’s goal of promoting companies with a social purpose.

After the tour: The group will return home, having gained a meaningful insight into London’s hidden stories and a deeper understanding of the city’s social fabric.
