Day 1

Start your time in Amsterdam by getting to know the area better! Stroll along the quaint streets, taking your time to explore the lovely canal-side roads and shops. Don’t miss Vondel Park, Dam Square and Central Station!
With your legs suitably stretched, head to the Rijsk museum in the afternoon. This is arguably Amsterdam’s most famous museum! Let your group get lost for hours in the extensive collections and exhibitions, where they’ll learn all about the past 800 years of Dutch history.
Relax in the evening with a group meal, then it’s time for bed – you have another busy day tomorrow!
Day 2

Dutch Resistance Museum + Camp Vught Memorial
This day offers a deep dive into WWII history. Together, these visits prompt critical reflection on cause and consequence, the realities of repression, and the moral complexities of resistance - key themes in university-level History.
Day 3

Your students can explore key historical landmarks such as the 17th-century Portuguese Synagogue and the Jewish Historical Museum. Time permitting, a visit to the Anne Frank House can offer a powerful, intimate experience of wartime persecution, with artefacts and testimonies that highlight themes of resilience, identity, and memory.
