Day 1

Day 2

Science Park

At Amsterdam Science Park, students will take a guided tour of one of Europe’s leading science and innovation hubs, exploring cutting-edge research in areas such as artificial intelligence and green technology, and seeing how these advancements create real-world impact. A Q&A session with a local researcher or entrepreneur (subject to availability) offers valuable insight into innovation processes, ethical considerations in technology, and potential career paths within STEM fields.

At Micropia, the world’s only museum dedicated to microorganisms, students discover how microbes impact health, ecosystems, and biotechnology. With interactive exhibits and live microscopes, this visit enhances understanding of microbiology, sustainability, and effective science communication.

Day 3

Amsterdam

At A’DAM Lookout, students can enjoy panoramic views of Amsterdam and, optionally, experience the thrilling “Over the Edge” swing. This visit provides a unique opportunity to visually explore urban design and vertical infrastructure. Students are encouraged to sketch or analyse the cityscape through a STEM or smart-city perspective, deepening their understanding of how cities grow and function.
