There are many fantastic school trips abroad to choose from, all of which can enhance your students’ subject knowledge. We have some great locations for a summer school trip abroad from Europe to America, including Italy, USA, Spain and Portugal!

We plan our trip itineraries to ensure your visits are as interesting and adventurous as possible. With trips covering subjects such as Geography, History, Art, Science and many more, we have a destination for you. That’s why we’re recommending some of the best places to travel to for a high school student trip.

Barcelona

This sunny city is an excellent location for a summer trip abroad for your students. Visit the Montserrat Natural Park with your geography students, admire the eroded limestone cliffs and mountain ranges, or see over 40 volcanoes at La Garrotxa Volcanic Park.

Take a tour around Camp Nou, home of Barcelona F.C. and sit in one of over 99,000 seats at this colossal stadium – certainly one for the sports fans. On a trip to Barcelona with us, your language students can develop their skills in a local cookery class, with instructions entirely in Spanish.

Will your students be able to follow along and produce some delicious food? Then it’s time to get on your dancing shoes! Your students can choose to take part in a dancing class with Spanish locals and learn the flamenco

Rome

A summer school trip to Rome is the perfect escape for any budding historians in your class.

Travel back in time and allow your students to imagine the sheer chaos that occurred in the Colosseum. This ancient amphitheatre dates back to 70 A.D., making it almost 2,000 years old!

Another must-see landmark for your students is the Vatican. Take a walk inside the Sistine Chapel to view Michelangelo’s stunning artwork and the domed ceilings of St Peter’s Basilica.

View the masterpieces of Leonardo Da Vinci at a museum dedicated to his works, and inspire your students with creations from one of the greatest artists of all time.

New York

The big apple! Fly your students to New York, the city that never sleeps and captivate them with world-famous landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, and Times Square.

Make your way to the United Nations Visitor Centre for a guided tour around the facility, where your students will discover the history of the U.N. and how this international organisation functions.

For some exceptional entertainment, we can ensure you and your students have tickets for a show on Broadway! Your students will love the theatre as they watch talented artists perform some of the greatest shows on earth.

Lisbon

Lisbon has many attractions for you students. Head to the Money Museum with your economics students, where they learn about its origins and usage developments over many centuries.

Dive into the history of pharmacology at the Museu de Farmacia and see the developments of medicine from the 15th century to today and how they affected global health.
