Your travel itinerary could look like...
Day 1
Our journey begins with an early check-in at the UK airport at 8:00. Upon arrival, we swiftly settle into our accommodation by 13:00. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the charming local area, highlighted by a leisurely walk along the beach. We conclude our day with a delightful evening meal at our accommodation.
Day 2
On our second day along the Opal Coast, we begin with a guided tour via Boulonge followed by a visit to the local French market where you will have the opportunity to interact with local French people first-hand. Then, ride aboard the Calais Dragon and discover a breathtaking view of Calais, the beach and the Côte d'Opale.
The afternoon brings a visit to the Nausica Sea Life Center where students will get the chance to learn about marine ecology. We will then conclude the day with an evening meal at our accommodation, reflecting on the day and looking forward to more adventures ahead.
Day 3
Today, we begin with an engaging 90-minute language session at the University of Boulogne.
At 11:30, we explore the art of baking at Boulangerie Le Fournil Wierre-Effroy, observing captivating croissant and bread-making demonstrations in a traditional wood oven.
After dinner, we indulge our taste buds in the secrets of chocolate production at Chocolats de Beussent. Later, we delve into the world of snail farming at Les Escargots du Bocage, showcasing the region's culinary diversity.
As the day winds down, we will have an evening meal at our accommodation and use the time for leisure or exploring the charms of the local area.
Day 4
Depart early from the accommodation for our 8.30 am flight back to the UK.
